IMPORTANT: The majority of issues we receive relate to out of date versions of the app. If you experience any issues, please firstly make sure that you are running the latest version.

You can download the latest version of iSingWorship here.

Search our Frequently Asked Questions:

(or click questions below to reveal their answers).

Q) When I use the cloud synchronisation why do my arrangements and playlists do not update correctly?

Firstly please update the iSingWorship app to version 3.2.0 or greater. This version number is displayed at the bottom of the Settings view.

If you still have problems please press the "Refresh All Data" button on the Settings view.

Q) The song I have purchased does not allow me to change the sections, background or volumes - why?

This is probably because the song (or subscription) is the "Essential" version. It plays through like a video using the original default arrangement with a blue smooth gradient background. When we put up the price of our songs we kept the option for users who cannot afford any rise to use these simpler version of the songs.

Please note: The price of the songs was put up because, like everyone, we are experiencing a big rise in costs including musicians, production, server hosting, etc.

Q) Why are there 'Update' buttons beside the songs??

We update songs to fix an issue or improve it in some way. Example improvements include making font sizes better or change the length of the fade out at end.

We recommend updating songs when it is convenient to do so. Please note: If you have changed the lyrics yourself then an update may affect these changed lyrics. Please play the song through to double check that it is still OK for you.

Q) I have purchased some songs in the iSingWorship store but they haven’t appeared on my device - how can I get them?

If you have brought Essential songs you will need iSingWorship version 3 or greater to be able to play them. It is available on our Download Page.

Otherwise open the iSingWorship app, log into your iSingWorship account and wait a few seconds for your songs to show up in the list below. Then tap on the relevant ‘Download’ button next to each song to download your purchased song(s) onto your device.

Q) I sometimes find the female voices too high or the male voices too low. Why is this?

All our recordings are produced and intended to be used as a resource for congregations to sing along with rather than a standard recording to be listened to. Because of this, our songs are always recorded in the most congregation friendly key possible.

This is always a compromise and it means that male vocals will always be a bit lower than would be ideal and female vocals a bit higher. The extent of this varies from song to song but obviously, we are at the mercy of how the original songs have been written. We simply cannot make songs in the best keys for the original singers as it would render them useless as a resource for a mixed congregation.

You can find out more about this here.

Q) I am intermittently hearing static or a digital noise during playback. How can I get rid of this?

If you are using a wireless connection, please check that the connection is working correctly.

Otherwise try the following: a) Click on the 'mixer' icon at the bottom right of the playing view, b) Scroll down and click on "Advanced Settings" and c) Turn "Use advanced buffering" to "Off".

Q) I have purchased a song and tried downloading it in iSingWorship but get an "804" download error code - how can I download it?

Please note that new iSingWorship songs are only usable in the latest iSingWorship app. It is available here.

Q) Why do I need a CCLI streaming plus license to stream iSingWorship songs online?

The original CCLI streaming license covered the use of the songs (publishing) rather than the use of the recordings themselves so that license was intended for streaming with live musicians.

CCLI have now introduced the new CCLI streaming plus license which covers the use of pre-recorded tracks for streaming online. Every recording found in our library is safely covered by this license.

You can find a helpful reporting guide on this page

Songs purchased from the iSingWorship store come in a custom format and are only compatible with the iSingWorship app. However, all the same songs are also available in standard MP4 lyric video format from our sister site www.worshiplyricvideos.com. These can be used in all the major media players and presenter software packages.

Q) When running iSingWorship on Windows, the eternal screen is mirroring my computer screen rather than just displaying the lyrics, how do I change this?

a) Press the Windows logo key + P on your keyboard and then select "Extend" or,

b) Right-click on the desktop background and select "Display Settings". Scroll down to a section called "Multiple displays" and change the setting to "Extend these displays".

iSingWorship should automatically recognise the change and display just the lyrics on the external screen.

Q) I am interested in iSingWorship for use in my church but we have several different people involved in our worship team. Can each of them use the same purchased songs on their devices?

You can download and play your purchased songs on multiple different platforms (PC, iOS, macOS, Android).

Using iSingWorship, you can log in to your account and play your purchased songs on 3 different devices simultaneously.

Using iSIngWorship Plus, you can log into your account and play songs on 5 different devices simultaneously.

If you want to play songs on more than 5 devices at the same time, you will need to set up additional accounts.

Q) Someone in our church purchased some iSingWorship songs using their own account but then left. Can we copy those purchased songs over to our new account?

We are not able to allow for any copyrighted media to be duplicated over different accounts which is in line with our music publishing obligations. Therefore in this situation, the previously purchased songs are legally owned by the person who purchased them and the new user would need to purchase songs or subscribe to iSingWorship Plus under the new account.

Q) I am having billing or purchasing problems, what should I do?

Please contact us via the form below and we will do our best to help.

Q) I can't reset my password, what should I do?

Q) Can you call me back (or can I call you)?

Q) How secure is my credit card and personal data when purchasing songs via the iSingWorship web store?

iSingWorship does not transmit or store any credit card details. Our credit card processing is provided by Stripe, the US based online payments processor. Card information is transferred directly between your computers browser and Stripe's web servers. The only information iSingWorship receives and stores is your name, email address, encrypted password and which songs/products you have purchased.

All information is transmitted using secure internet connections and stored on secure web servers. This is to comply with UK data protection laws and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. If you want to know more about Stripe, please visit: https://stripe.com/about

Q) I have purchased some songs in iSingWorship, if I then delete and re-install the app how do I get my songs back?

If you go into the song store on your device, log into your iSingWorship account and press the 'Purchased' tab, you will see a list of any songs you have previously purchased ready for download.

Q) Can I import songs from my existing iTunes or other libraries into iSingWorship?

Only songs designed especially for use in the iSingWorship app will work. All iSingWorship songs have to be recorded and mixed into individual stems and then encoded into an advanced file format using SATT™ (smooth audio transition technology) processing software. The resulting files not only contain split audio files with lyrics and chords but lots of other data to make sure the music section changes sound good.

Q) I purchased some songs a few years ago in the old Apple iOS app but now I can't find them.

The ability to transfer songs from the legacy version ran for 2 years but has now expired due to some changes Apple have made. We recommend you subscribe to the app to get access to all the new features as well as the entire library of songs.

Q) Can I stream lyrics and music wirelessly from iSingWorship?

This is possible but entirely depends on the equipment you are using. If you are normally able to stream video and audio from your device, then this should also work when running iSingWorship.

Q) How can I display iSingWorship from an iPhone/iPad wirelessly to a display?

You can mirror your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to a TV or Mac by doing the following:
